Naperville, IL… State Senator John Curran (R-Downers Grove) will be hosting a free community recycling event on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Compass Church – Naperville Campus, 1551 Hobson Rd in Naperville from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Residents are invited to bring a variety of acceptable items for recycling, including cables, cell phones, computers, printers, game systems, holiday lights, working bikes and more. Please note that certain items, such as CRTs, TVs, hazardous waste, and large appliances, will NOT be accepted.
“These community recycling evens help residents clean out unwanted clutter in a sustainable way,” said Sen. Curran. “We look forward to assisting residents and making a positive impact on our environment at this free event.”
