Illinois Senate Minority Leader John Curran (R-Downers Grove) was recently recognized as a “Senate Manufacturing Champion” by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) in their 2025-2026 Legislative Report Card, which highlights lawmakers who consistently support Illinois’ manufacturing industry.
“Our caucus is committed to supporting policies that help Illinois businesses grow,” said Senator Curran. “I am proud to work with the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association and our business community as we work to bring more investments and manufacturing jobs to our state.”
The IMA’s Report Card rates lawmakers based on their voting record on key bills that impact Illinois’ manufacturing sector. Senator Curran’s support for legislation aimed at making Illinois a more competitive place to do business secured him the title of “Manufacturing Champion.”.
