Summer Reading Program
Ready, Set, Read!
State Senator John Curran is challenging all students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade to read 10 books this summer — are you up for it? You have until August 3rd to finish!
- K-2nd Grade: Read 10 books
- 3rd-6th Grade: Read 10 books or 500 pages total.
- 7th- 8th Grade: Read 10 books or 700 pages total.
How to Join the Fun:
- You must be a student in K– 8th grade.
- Check out the list of nearby libraries in the 41st Senate District.
- Read 10 awesome books.
- Fill out the quick online form here or download the form below and mail it to 1101 State Street, Suite 205, Lemont IL, 60439 by August 3rd!
- Wait to receive an official certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate!
