Prescription Drug Drop-Off

I’m hosting a Prescription Drug Drop-Off Event on Saturday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burr Ridge Police Department (7700 County Line Rd, Burr Ridge, IL). This event is held in partnership with the Burr Ridge and Willowbrook Police Departments.

This free, drive-up event makes it simple and safe to dispose of your unused or expired medications. Proper disposal helps:

Protect the environment
Prevent accidental poisonings
Stop misuse and abuse

Accepted Items: prescription medications, ointments & patches, pet meds, vitamins, and vaping devices (with batteries removed).
Not Accepted: liquids, needles, illegal drugs, or syringes.

You don’t even need to leave your car—just drive up, and a team member will assist you.
