Curran statement on Bellock retirement from House of Representatives
State Senator John Curran (R-Downers Grove) released the following statement today on the retirement announcement of House Deputy Leader Patti Bellock (R-Hinsdale).
“When living in Woodridge, Patti Bellock was my Representative for nine years. As a State Rep. and a DuPage County Board Member, she has always been the go-to person for insight on state and local issues. Her work with human services is second to none and has made an overwhelmingly positive impact on families all across the state. She is a true advocate for Illinois’ most vulnerable residents and continuously raises the bar for good governing for the entire General Assembly. This is an extremely sad loss for DuPage County and Illinois, but I thank her so much for her service and wish her the best of luck, success and happiness in her retirement.”
